Recipe Banana Cake With Peanut Butter Frosting


* 2 1 / 4 cups flour
* 1 1 / 4 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
* 2 large very ripe mashed bananas
1 cup buttermilk, room
* Shortening 2 / 3 cup
* 1 1 / 2 cups sugar
* 2 eggs at room temperature
1 vanilla extract
* Cream cheese 1 8 oz
* Corn syrup 1 / 2 cup
Butter * 1 / 2 cup creamy peanut
1 cup salted peanuts


Let the buttermilk, eggs and cream cheese at room temperature by placing them on the counter to soften for about 20 minutes before cooking.

Grease and flour a 9 x 13 inch baking dish and then destroyed until it is needed.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

With a medium bowl,combine flour,baking powder,baking soda and salt and add to mix well.Set aside until needed.

Peel and mash the ripe bananas, while using an electric mixer in a clean, dry bowl. Add sugar and beat the shortening, then about 5 minutes. Eggs, beating well after each one after.

Gradually,small portions of flour and buttermilk to the mixture and simultaneously between the flour and buttermilk to make you move to a paste.Stir in vanilla flavoring and continue beating for another minute.

Pour this mixture into the prepared baking dish 9 x 13 inches. Place in preheated oven for about 30-35 minutes. You can use the toothpick, or by pressing the center of the cake to check and pull out clean.

While the cake baked bananas,peanut butter glaze can be prepared by grinding the almonds and set aside until needed.

Combine cream cheese,creamy peanut butter and corn syrup together in a medium bowl and mix well. Add chopped nuts and beat until smooth.

Spread frosting on top of the banana cake is still warm from the oven after cooking.
