Coconut Pecan Frosting Cake Recipe
1 cup evaporated milk
1 cup sugar
3 egg yolks
Butter 1 / 2 cup
1 teaspoon vanilla bean paste
Meyer's dark rum 1 tablespoon
Can flake coconut
1 cup chopped pecans
In a bowl, mix milk, rum, sugar, egg yolks and butter. You then heat the pot, stirring constantly, until thickened to minute 10 or so. Then pour batter of vanilla, coconut and pecans and cool.
